Megan Denise Fox is an American actress, model, and author born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, on May 16, 1986. Raised in a strict Pentecostal household, she began training in dance and drama at age five in Kingston, Tennessee, continuing her instruction after relocating to St. Petersburg, Florida, at age ten. She began modeling at age thirteen after winning multiple awards at the American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina, which prompted her to test out of high school early via correspondence to move to Los Angeles and pursue a full-time acting career. 

Her film and television biography began with her on-screen debut as the spoiled heiress Brianna Wallace in the family film "Holiday in the Sun" in 2001.
