About Hena Kurtagic
Hena Kurtagić (Serbian Cyrillic: Хена Куртагић) is a Serbian volleyball player. She plays as middle blocker for Italian club Vero Volley Milano.
Hena Kurtagić, born on 27 August 2004 in Novi Pazar, Serbia, is a Serbian professional volleyball player who plays as a middle blocker. She began her career at OK Tent Obrenovac, where she won the Serbian league title in the 2019/2020 season. After four seasons in Serbia, she moved to France to join Neptunes de Nantes, winning the French Cup in 2023/2024. In 2024 she signed for Vero Volley Milano in the Italian Serie A1, one of the strongest leagues in the world, and helped the club win the bronze medal at the 2024 Club World Championship.
Kurtagić has been a member of the Serbian national team since 2022. She won a bronze medal at the Mediterranean Games and later participated in the Volleyball Nations League and the 2023 European Championship, where Serbia earned a silver medal. Throughout her youth career she was consistently recognized as the best middle blocker at major international tournaments, including the European U17 and U19 Championships, the U18 and U20 World Championships, and the 2023–24 CEV Challenge Cup.
Off the court, Hena maintains a private personal life and does not publicly share details about romantic relationships. She is, however, widely admired for her appearance and presence, often noted for her height, elegance, and natural beauty. Her calm demeanor, professionalism, and strong athletic identity contribute to her reputation as both a highly promising volleyball talent and a standout public figure in contemporary women’s volleyball.
