Ginger Allen answered an advertisement from the World Modeling Agency in September 1983, she immediately signed a contract with that agency and did pictorials for Cheri, Club, Hustler, and Penthouse, which brought her to the attention of the adult entertainment industry. Ginger entered porn in 1984 and retired in 1986. Ginger had a late-career return to the adult industry and made a brief series of movies, before moving on to star in main stream movies.

Ginger became the first “Vivid Girl” before her Hollywood career kicked off in 1989 with Vice Academy, then graduated to such films as Young Guns II (1990), The Devil’s Rejects (2005) and American Pie Presents: Band Camp (2005).
