About Erika Kirk

Erika is an Illinois-based businesswoman, podcaster, and philanthropist. She attended Arizona State University, graduating with a degree in Political Science and International Relations in 2012. She then pursued further education at Liberty University, earning a Juris Master's degree in 2017 and a Doctorate in Christian Leadership in 2022. Erika won Miss Arizona USA in 2012. She founded Everyday Heroes Like You, a nonprofit supporting under-recognized charities, and hosts the Midweek Rise Up podcast. She is the widow of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, with whom she had two children. They were married from 2021 until his death in 2025. Erika was named CEO of Turning Point USA after her husband's assassination.
In 2026, she was appointed a key advisory board of the US Air Force Academy. The 16-member panel of the academy’s board of visitors, which according to its website “inquires into the morale, discipline, curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods and other matters” of the Colorado Springs military training facility.
