Barbara documented her transformation online, amassing over 344,000 TikTok followers and 55,000 on Instagram. Her unique look and bold journey inspired many, but her story ended tragically under mysterious circumstances in São Paulo.
According to reports, Jankavski was with a public defender for a private meeting where illicit substances were reportedly used; she was later found unconscious in her home, wearing only underwear.
While her numerous surgeries are not officially linked to her death, it is recognised that multiple surgeries and the strain on the body can increase health risks. However, no official medical condition has been publicly confirmed as the cause of death, though toxicology and autopsy are pending.
Reportedly, authorities in São Paulo have registered her death as suspicious while investigations continue. Her death is currently being investigated as she was found in a townhouse with an injury to her eye and marks on her back, raising questions about the circumstances around her passing.
