Anna Paulina is an St. Petersburg, FL-based Republican politician, U.S. Air Force veteran, and former swimsuit model who has served as the U.S. Representative for Florida’s 13th congressional district since 2023. She is the first Mexican-American woman elected to Congress from Florida. She was raised primarily by a single mother in Southern California amid a difficult family background, including parental struggles with substance abuse.
She enlisted in the U.S. Air Force around age 19 and served 2009–2014 as an airfield management specialist. She received the Air Force Achievement Medal and later briefly served in the Oregon Air National Guard. She then graduated from the University of West Florida with a B.S. in biology.
She worked as Director of Hispanic Engagement for Turning Point USA, as a political commentator/influencer, and in nonprofit roles focused on veterans and related issues. She ran unsuccessfully for the same Florida district in 2020 against Charlie Crist before winning in 2022.
In Congress she serves on the Oversight and Government Reform Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee. She is associated with the House Freedom Caucus, holds a strongly conservative voting record, and has focused on issues including government transparency (e.g., UAPs/UFOs, JFK files, Epstein-related matters, COVID origins), immigration, and election integrity.
Before and during her early political rise she worked as a swimsuit/lingerie model, including appearances in Maxim, as a 2014 “Hometown Hottie” and later cover subject and related photoshoots, plus sites like Liberty Belles featuring women in camouflage bikinis with firearms. She has also described working as a cocktail waitress at a gentlemen’s club.

Luna graduated from the University of West Florida in 2017. She joined Turning Point USA and unsuccessfully ran for a seat in the U.S. House in 2020. She was elected in 2022 with the support of Donald Trump in her primary. She supported Jim Jordan and Byron Donalds for Speaker of the House of Representatives in the January 2023 election. She is also a member of the House Freedom Caucus.
