After playing the role of Stephanie Meanswell in the first 2 seasons of Icelandic/US childrens TV-Series known as Afram Latibaer (in Icelandic) aka LazyTown in English,she retired from acting and became a schoolteacher. Many of her students recognize her from the show. Yes even (gen a and z kids) because fhe show constantly reruns in the US of A and is freely available on "Google-Tube".
Many false rumors circulated around the internet that she had commited suicide by OD'ing on cocaine after repeatedly being taken to the Epstein Island by the LazyTown creator and showrunner Magnus Scheving. These rumours are completly false and she has debunked them herself multiple times by appearing in the newsmedia.
Julianna and fellow LazyTown actress Chloe Lang also raised a charity for collecting in the name of fellow LazyTown actor Stefan Karl Stefanson when Stefanson fell ill in cancer. Sadly Stefanson did not survive his battle against cancer despite the charity money aiding him in paying for his treatments.
