When Annette was a Mouseketeer, she had matured faster than the other girls. So, Disney strapped her breasts down to make her look smaller (see photo 14) so she would not stand out from the other girls. It did make her self conscious about her body. This is why she rarely wore a bikini/two piece in the beach party movies of the sixties.

The studios gave her uppers to lose weight. Judy was so high she needed sleeping pills to bring her down. They got her addicted to the pills. To drown out the constant stress from the studios pushing and pulling Judy turned to alcohol. That is what broke up her marriage to Minnelli. She died of alcoholism. Sad to lose such a talent and singer.

It is sad that the truth about her death never came out. The corruption in Los Angeles within the police, the district attorney, and politicians then was so bad it makes what we have today look like kid's stuff in comparison.

According to USA Today, at the request of the family no autopsy was done. So cause of death is listed as undetermined. Why she died at such a young age will never be known. Very sad and condolences to her family.
