Update all references to “Twitter” to “X” to reflect the platform’s current official name and maintain consistency across the interface.

The site has a logo with a big X, the domain is x.com, and I highly doubt that new users from 2026 onward will even know what Twitter is.

I’m with @firetop22. I never call it 𝕏 in any sort of day to day conversation. It will always be Twitter to me, no matter what Elon 🤬ing Musk says.

Names and branding evolve, and language naturally follows. The website has a giant X logo and uses x.com as its domain, so calling it Twitter is a personal preference, not an objective description of what the platform is today. You don't have to like Elon Musk or agree with his decisions to recognize that a rebrand can eventually become the new norm. The name you prefer doesn't change the reality of the brand people are seeing.

Another alternative would be to use "X/Twitter" everywhere, but I still prefer just "X". A lot of people who prefer the old name are doing so purely for ideological reasons.

While I don't think it would actively be harmful to the site necessarily, it's completely unnecessary as well. Better not to waste time on something like this.
