Lock Comments on the Top 25

Content Moderation Profile

Posted by GeekBoy3 2026-09-29 10:19

I’m sure I’m not the only one who is sick and tired of the nonstop trolling on the profiles of popular profiles such as Ana DeArmas, Sydney Sweeney, Monica Belluci, Mila Azul, Jennifer Connelly, etc. etc. I really have no idea why some users get so worked up over who is in the Top 10, 25, 100, or 10,000. The trolling has now spilled over into Community Moderation, with one Case Study has (as of now) seven commenters sniping back and forth. If there can’t be wholesale banning of these misguided trolls, then I think the best solution is to automatically block Comments on profiles in the Top 25 (or even Top 100) in hopes that the trolls will eventually get bored and find somewhere else to spew their nonsense.

What is wrong with just reporting them? It's seemingly working

@Percy64
Some reports are just silly and feel like they are just reporting for the simple reason of retaliation for another argument or such

This might be a good idea, but I think these trolls will just move to other profiles and continue with their stupidity. These people who behave like children shouldn't even be allowed on the internet.

I think someone suggested creating a forum for members on here. Also a nice idea, but can you imagine the amount of moderation that would have to be done?

We don't think this comment lockdown is needed. The comment reporting is doing its job.

@Pryda Does the removal of trolls comments have any consequences for them, or can they just keep going until they get bored?

Posted by Pingupop 2026-09-29 14:28

There are consequences, yes.
Some are warned, and some are banned.

@Pryda From my perspective, Community Moderation 𝑤𝑎𝑠 working, but now as @firetop22 noted, it’s become a new battleground for trolls to have their petty bickering and squabbling. It’s frankly maddening for those of us who as trying in good faith to help the site.

Locking them would be a win for the trolls and haters. Just report the bad comments.

What is a "trolling comment" ? Is it a comment that doesn't go along with the sentiment of the circle jerk certain comments sections have become?

The top 25 is a nonsense that is oversaturated with actresses who should not be anywhere near it, simping hard for a mid faced actress who shows of her tits in her movies is the reason we have trolls

@i_now_prefer_ass The fact that you can never write a comment without including at least one insult is probably a big part of why your comments constantly get reported. So maybe start looking at yourself before complaining and whining about everyone else every fucking day. Everyone has a right to have an opinion, even if it's the same opinion as a lot of other people, and even if you don't agree with it.

@Pingupop My thoughts exactly. Thank you for expressing them so concisely. 👍🏻

@Pingupop
Pretty much I think if we got the block function he would have been the first one so many ppl would block

@firetop22 I voted 👍🏻 for that Suggestion, too.
