Testing requested: This was recently implemented. Please test it and let us know your feedback in the comments section.

To avoid bugging the moderators and fixing mishaps or ie replace a pending upload with a better one I would like to have an option to review/ cancel uploads that haven't been accepted yet.
This would also avoid uploading the same picture twice, since you can't check back what you already uploaded.

Also being able to see the galleries while uploading would help to avoid duplicates.

It's available via the personal menu (top right corner), but only if you have pending uploads. Please give it a try.

This is a great idea and I've already used the test and it worked! I definitely think that the following suggestion about seeing the galleries whilst uploading should be the next implementation of this feedback.

That’s a great feature—even just for cancelling a potential upload error without having to bother an admin.
