Zorka Janu was a Czech actress known for her supporting roles in Czechoslovak cinema during the late 1930s and early 1940s, as well as for being the younger sister of prominent actress Lída Baarová.
Born Zora Babková on July 9, 1921, in Štěchovice, Czechoslovakia, she began her career as a child performer and made her film debut alongside her sister in Madla z cihelny in 1933 She appeared in several notable films, including Škola, základ života (1938), Ohnivé léto (1939), Baron Munchhausen (1940), and Cekanky (1940), often cast in youthful or character parts.

Following the end of World War II, Zorka Janu's family endured profound hardships stemming from her sister Lída Baarová's wartime associations. Lída Baarová was imprisoned by Czech authorities after the war due to these connections.Their mother died during an interrogation by a Czech tribunal in the postwar period These events caused Zorka to lose her work and fall into despair
