About Yvonne D'Angers

Yvonne D'Angers was born on September 2, 1944, in Tehran, Iran. She was an actress, known for Ground Zero (1973), Sappho Darling (1968), and The Seven Minutes (1971). She was married to Voss Boreta.

One of the first topless dancers in America. She gained fame by performing in the North Beach area of San Francisco with other dancers like Carol Doda. In 1966, D'Angers chained herself to the Golden Gate Bridge as a protest against her ordered deportation to Iran, which was overturned in 1968.
