About Yurina Kumai
Yurina Kumai (熊井友理奈) is a Japanese singer and talent under J.P ROOM and a fashion model under Tateoka Office. She is a former idol under Hello! Project, having joined as a member of Hello! Project Kids in 2002 before debuting with Berryz Kobo in 2004. During her time in Hello! Project, she was also a member of Tanpopo#, Guardians 4, BeriKyuu, Cat's♥Eye 7, and Ujicha♥Taishi Maccha's. She graduated from Hello! Project on March 3, 2015, alongside the other members of Berryz Kobo.
Her hobbies include shopping and listening to music, while among her favorite things are Disney, monochrome fashion, and magazines. She particularly enjoys matcha desserts, yakiniku, tarts, and kinako mochi, and her favorite English word is “Generation.”
Academically, her favorite subjects were music, physics, and mathematics, while Japanese was her strongest subject. Among Berryz Kobo songs, her favorite from Ai no Album ⑧ is Because Happiness.
Some of her favorite songs over the years have included Dango 3 Kyoudai by Kentarou Hayami and Ayumi Shigemori, as well as Natsu Matsuri by Whiteberry. Her current favorite song is Oh! by Girls' Generation.
