Carmen Yered Licona González, known professionally as La Wanders Lover or La Wanders, is a Mexican actress, comedian and television host. She was born on July 16, 1983, in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
Before entering the entertainment industry, Licona studied seven semesters of law and later enrolled at the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA), from where she made her transition to television. Her early work included appearances on shows such as En Familia con Chabelo, Muévete, Desmadruga2 and an episode of La Rosa de Guadalupe.
In 2008, at age 25, her career took off when she joined the cast of Telehit's sketch comedy program Guerra de Chistes. The nickname "La Wanders" was given to her by comedian Armando Nava "El Borrego": it originally started as "Wenceslao", evolved to "Wences Lover" and finally became "Wanders Lover", a name she later registered as her personal brand.
She is known for her work on Ellas asesinas (2009), El vecindario 4 (2019) and La chica del table (2023). Licona is the mother of three children and has maintained an active career in comedy, podcasts and digital projects.
