About Wu Jinyan
Originally studied to be a ballerina and started lessons at 3. In 2000 she moved from her hometown to study at Beijing Dance Academy. She would join the National Ballet of China but after repeated fractures to her feet she decided to change careers to acting.
Her beginnings for her acting career was small but meaningful roles. She got her big break when she played in Story of Yanxi Palace she starred alongside Charmaine Sheh and Qin Lan in 2018, and in the followup Yanxi Palace: Princess Adventures she came back to play her role
