Victoria Petrovna Lopyreva (born July 26, 1983 , Rostov-on-Don , USSR ) is a Russian sports TV presenter, model, blogger, and ambassador for the 2018 FIFA World Cup . She is also the UN Ambassador to Russia for the Fight Against Discrimination.

Biography
She was born on July 26, 1983, and raised in Rostov-on-Don. Her mother, Irina Lopyreva, trained as a journalist, was a famous model in her youth, and is now an entrepreneur .

In addition to her general education, Lopyreva studied piano at the Tchaikovsky Music School . After graduating from high school, she entered the Rostov State University of Economics (RINH), where she successfully graduated with a degree in business management.

She began her modeling career in 1999 at Image Elite [ 1 ] , winning the Don Photo Model competition that same year and the Rostov Beauty competition in 2001. In 2001, she was also named best model at the Golden Lightning fashion festival by a jury chaired by V. Yudashkin . In 2002, she won the Donbass OPEN competition, and in 2003, she became Miss Russia, after which she moved to Moscow. In 2005, she began working for central television.

Personal life
In 2011-2012 she was in a relationship with the popular singer Vlad Topalov [ 2 ] .

She was in a relationship with Russian football player Fyodor Smolov [ 3 ] ; the couple broke up in May 2015.

In July 2017, Victoria and Nikolai Baskov's wedding was announced , scheduled for October 5, 2017. However, Victoria and Nikolai postponed the ceremony. In late October 2018, in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, Baskov effectively admitted that his relationship with Lopyreva was fictitious, stating that they had barely seen each other since January 2018. The same article also stated that Lopyreva was five months pregnant [ 4 ] .

On February 5, 2019, she gave birth to a son, whom she named Mark Lionel. The birth took place at a Miami clinic in the United States . The child's father is businessman Igor Bulatov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Komi Republic [ 5 ] , previously married to the daughter of construction magnate Samvel Karapetyan [ 6 ] [ 7 ] .

Incident on Aeroflot flight
On October 26, 2014, Victoria Lopyreva was removed from a Yekaterinburg -Moscow flight for refusing to turn off her mobile phone while the plane was moving along the runway and to leave the seat reserved for another passenger, which allowed her to secure a bassinet to the seat for safe transportation of an infant. The incident was widely covered in the press [ 9 ] [ 10 ] . An episode of the program " Man and the Law " with Lopyreva's interview was shown in the Far Eastern time zone ; for unknown reasons, the episode was cut from the Channel One broadcast in the Moscow time zone. It was also reported that an episode of the program " Let Them Talk " was prepared, but not aired, with a flight attendant invited to the studio who reported Lopyreva's behavior to the aircraft commander [ 11 ] .

Victoria Lopyreva's introduction to football began in 2008 with the program " Football Night " [ 17 ] , where she was invited as co-host with Georgy Cherdantsev . Since then, by her own admission, she has become seriously interested in football and has fallen in love with it [ 18 ] [ 19 ] .

On June 3, 2015, the Russian Football Premier League ( RPL ) management summarized the 2014/2015 season and presented Premier Awards to the players, football clubs, team staff, and media representatives who made the greatest contribution to the development and promotion of Russian football. Lopyreva received one of the Premier Awards for "Best Promotion of the SOGAZ- 2014/2015 Russian Championship ."

In October 2015, she signed a contract with the Rostov-on-Don 2018 management, thereby becoming the Rostov-on-Don capital's ambassador for the 2018 FIFA World Cup . In 2016, she presented the Confederations Cup match ball live at the draw ceremony in Kazan . In June 2017, she took part in the opening ceremony of the Confederations Cup , held in Russia . Since 2017, she has been a FIFA Ambassador , participating in the FIFA International Trophy Tour in partnership with Coca-Cola [ 22 ] . Charity
He is a co-founder of the charitable foundation "Erasing Borders" [ 24 ] , which helps children affected by military conflicts. He also recruits Russian football players and celebrities to participate in charity events.
