About Tobi Owotomo

Dr Tobi Owotomo works as Physical Therapist / Athletic Trainer for the Oklahoma City Thunder NBA team.
She began serving with the Oklahoma City Thunder as a Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer during the summer of 2022.
She previously served as the Head Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer for the 2024 NBA G-League Champions the Oklahoma City Blue.
She previously served as the student athletic therapist with Canada Basketball’s Senior Men’s National Team, then as a student physical therapist at EXOS Phoenix and The Hospital for Special Surgery.

She is an alumnus of York University of both the Athletic Therapy Program as well as the Kinesiology and Health Sciences Program.
She then went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Stony Brook University in New York.

Dr Owotomo was a scholarship varsity rugby player for York University, a U-20 Team Canada Rugby Athlete, a 2nd Team All-Canadian, an Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Rookie of the Year, and a two-time OUA All-Star.
She blends her knowledge as a former elite athlete and now dual certified physical therapist and athletic trainer into her daily clinical practice. Tobi has used her passion, personal experience and understanding of athletic injuries to fuel her ability to rehabilitate athletes after injury, enabling them to play again at the highest level of professional sports.
