Surely it's a form of manipulation that a relative unheard of nobody sweeps to no.1 in a day.

That is somewhat true too, though it should be noted that more famous people will have an advantage in the scoring system too.

Well thats debatable. Yeah it can help but it can be a hindrance too. Sometimes that extra knowledge that comes from being more well known can actually hurt someones score. Like for example Amber Heard she is sitting at an 8 whilst being a total smoke show. I bet if some people didn't factor in personality she would have a higher score.
