Taylor is a Utah-based reality television personality and social media influencer. She is a cast-member of the Hulu series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and was scheduled to be the Bachelorette for season 22 of The Bachelorette before it was cancelled prior to being aired.

She was raised in the Church of Latter-day Saints in Pueblo, Colorado and moved to Utah with her mother and step-father at the age of 16.

Taylor was married in 2016 and had two children with her former husband, whom she divorced in 2022. She had a third child with her then-boyfriend in 2024. Taylor plead guilty to aggravated assault in August 2023 following an incident with her then-boyfriend.

In 2022, she went viral for revealing that she and her husband had been "soft-swinging" with other Mormon couples. From this, Hulu launched the reality television series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in 2024.
