About Taylor Dooley
Taylor Dooley is an actress who began her career at a young age, landing the lead role in the 2005 film The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl. Following a few years of auditioning and facing challenges related to her age and appearance, she took a break from acting to focus on her education and personal growth. During this time, she pursued a degree in Psychology and explored various acting schools and classes, including the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. After several years away from the industry, Dooley has rekindled her passion for acting and is now ready to revive her career, feeling more confident and self-assured than ever. She even reprised her role as Lavagirl in the 2020 movie We Can Be Heroes.
Taylor Dooley is married and therefore appears to be in a committed relationship. Multiple entertainment-profile sites report that she married Nicholas Poppin in January 2024 after a period of engagement.
