Tara won an award for best house dancer of the year (as Valerie Monroe) from Bust Out magazine in 1994. She starred in over 50 movies during her time in the industry. Tara was a presenter, along with her sister, at the 1994 Adult Video News Awards. Tara and Tomi were featured in a plot based film Sisters (1993), though in different scenes.
