Born in Tokyo, Japan. Tanisha is of Jamaican, Native American and Irish decent. She began her career with FORD Models and has since become an accomplished model, television host, writer, and actress. With a bachelor's degree in Media Arts and General Business from the University of Arizona, she transitioned from the fashion industry into entertainment, hosting, writing, and co-producing award-winning content.

Her work in fashion includes features in Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire, as well as campaigns for Ralph Lauren and L'Oréal Paris. As an actress, Tanisha has appeared in television commercials and films, with credits including Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Dear White People, Hacks, Dollface, and General Hospital.

Tanisha Harper is an actress who has guest-starred on Hulu's "Dollface", "Hacks" on HBO Max, Netflix's "Dear White People", and the comedy movie "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". Harper also worked as a professional model in the past and is repped by NTA Talent Agency and Maxx Management.

On February 23, 2022, it was revealed that Tanisha Harper will be recast as Jordan. Harper first thought she was auditioning to portray a district attorney named Michelle before finding out a few days after booking the job that she would be the third person to portray Jordan Ashford.She first appeared on March 2, 2022 as Jordan.
