Sunny's model page at Nadine Jansen's website states that she "got her name because of her birthday in midsummer, July 9, 1980".

Sunny is a discovery of Bettie Ballhaus and first appeared as a guest model on her site in September 2001. As Bettie gave up her former website bettie-b.de in 2004, the guest models were transferred to Nadine Jansen's website, where new sets of Sunny are published until today.
