About Sunny Andrews
Sonia is a South Miami, Florida-based Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Resident Physician, IFBB Wellness Pro, fitness trainer, business woman, internet influencer, and glamour model.
Despite her real name being Sonia Andreou, she goes by the moniker Sunny Andrews. She was born in Ontario, Canada, but relocated to Michigan at the age of 15 to pursue a career in the medical field. As a child, she excelled in sports such as soccer and track. When she was a teenager, she was selected for the US Olympic Development Soccer Team and continued to play sports throughout her time in college.
She had originally envisioned a career in fashion design. She studied anthropology and fashion design at Michigan State University, where she graduated with a degree in bioethics. Her interest in health, wellbeing, and helping others was sparked during a brief internship at an orthopedic office. In order to get her foot in the door of the medical profession, she went on to earn a master's degree in Biomedical Science from Oakland University.
She was accepted to St. Maarten's medical school after acing the MCAT. While on vacation in St. Maarten, she had her first encounter with bodybuilding. She discovered that living a bodybuilding lifestyle helped her academics and improved her mental well-being at the same time. She went from 95 pounds of weak muscle to 115 pounds of strong muscle in that time period. She became healthier and more energetic as a result of her bodybuilding regimen.
When she graduated in 2019 with a degree in medical science, she went on to work at the Mayo Clinic and the University of Florida, where she studied genetics and radiology. She will be a surgical resident in 2020. She completed her clinical rotations in London (England), Michigan, DC, Virginia, California, Georgia, and Florida before returning to the United States to complete her residency.
An American Accredited medical school in St. Maarten, Sunny received her degree in 2010. In 2018, she became a WBFF Pro after winning her first competition. It was in 2020 that she won her first Wellness bodybuilding show and qualified for the Nationals.
Sunny is a former OnlyFans content creator.
As of April 2025, Sunny has amassed 437,000 followers on Instagram and 18,000 subscribers on her YouTube platform.
