About Sophie Lloyd
Sophie Lloyd is a rock and metal guitarist and social media content creator from London, England. She is a graduate of the BIMM (British Institute of Modern Music) which graduates high profile musicians in rock, jazz, metal and pop studies. Sophie has been obsessed with rock music since she was a child. With roots in classic metal, bands like Iron Maiden, Black Label Society and Pantera have been some of her biggest influences on her mainstream performance style.
Her metal and punk-influenced playing is demonstrated in covers and original compositions that appear on her eponymous channel. She has over 950,000 subscribers and has racked up over 8,000,000 views.
Sophie released her first EP “Delusions” in 2018, recorded and produced with Jason Wilson of Stakeout Studios.
As of January 2025, Sophie has amassed 1.2 million Instagram followers, 985,200 followers on TikTok, 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube and 21,000 followers on her Twitch platform.
