Sophie Favier is a French television host, actress and singer, who was born on October 5th, 1963 in Lyon, France.
Childhood and early life
Sophie Favier, born on October 5, 1963 in Lyon (RhĂŽne) on the Croix-Rousse plateau, is the daughter of an architect of French origin, and a hairdresser of Spanish origin[1][insufficient source][ref. to be confirmed].

Her parents divorced when she was seven years old[2]. When her father died, when she was fifteen years old, her family moved to Caluire-et-Cuire. She also has a brother.

Hostess at the Collaro show and then host on Canal+ (1981–1987
When she was younger, Sophie Favier wanted to become a dancer. After obtaining her baccalaureate B, she wanted to enrol in law school to become a lawyer, but her fate was determined by a colleague of Stéphane Collaro, Catherine Corbineau, whom she had met in Saint-Tropez on a beach the previous summer (July 1981). She made her first television appearance on the Collaro show in prime time. From 1981 to 1983, she was a dancer in the Coco-Girls troupe, in Co-Co Boy, a show produced by Stéphane Collaro.

At the same time, she posed nude for charming photos. In 1983, she was voted Girl of the Year by Lui magazine. She denies having been fired by Collaro in 1984 but says she voluntarily left for Canal+, to host the show MaxitĂȘte from 1984 to 1987.

Success on TF1 (1987–1997
Back on TF1, she became a columnist for the notepad of Ciel, mon mardi! from 1988 to 1990, replacing Renaud Rahard and then at Coucou c'est nous! from 1992 to 1993[3], two programmes presented by Christophe Dechavanne. In 1993, she presented the show Sophie... without prohibitions produced by Christophe Dechavanne. The latter, not being convinced, decides to stop the program after the pilot of the show[4].

During the 1993-1994 season, she was part of the team of columnists of the show Sacrée Soirée[5]; she continued during the 1994-1995 season by co-hosting the show Super mecs alongside Patrick Sébastien[6], as well as the show Sans sans doute from 1995 to 1996[7]. The following year, she co-hosted three bonus numbers of the show Capitale d'un soir with Philippe Risoli[8]. At the start of the 1998 school year on RTL-TVI, she was a juror in the amateur singers' competition Stars ce soir, alongside Marie-Christine Maillard and Claude Barzotti[9].

Return to television (2003–2011
In 2003, she participated in the reality TV show Nice People, presented by Flavie Flament and Arthur on TF1 and hosted the show Incroyable mais vrai, alongside Bruno RoblÚs, Jean-Pascal Lacoste and Roger Pierre. It presented the EuroMillions from February 2004 to 2011. At the same time, she co-presented in 2010 and 2011 Votre voyance[8] with Claude Alexis on Vivolta alternating with Frédéric Charpentier. She was a godmother of the "Paranormal vision" exhibition organized in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer in 2012[10]. From February 11 to July 2011, she joined the team of the show Morandini! on Direct 8, as a columnist. Then, in September 2011, she became the new ambassador of the OnlineBingo bingo site[11].

Other activities (since 2012
In September 2012, she became the owner of a fashion boutique in Neuilly-sur-Seine (92) called Twiggy. In 2014 and 2015, she participated in the Grand concours des animateurs on TF1. On December 9, 2016, she returned to the Grosses TĂȘtes, participating for the first time during the Laurent Ruquier period. From November 4 to 11, 2017, it presents the concerts of the Âge Tendre cruise, produced by Christophe Dechavanne[12].

Personal life
Sophie Favier has a daughter with Jean-Michel Muret, engineer: Carla-Marie, born on August 3, 1995 in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
