Sonja Kirchberger is an Austrian actress best known for her roles in film and television productions.

As a young woman, she received classical ballet training and danced with the Vienna State Opera Ballet from 1974 to 1978. Afterward, she worked as a dental assistant and also as a model.

Her acting breakthrough came in 1988 with the film "Die Venusfalle" (The Venus Trap) by director Robert van Ackeren. In the following years, she appeared in films such as "Peanuts – Die Bank bezahlt alles" (Peanuts – The Bank Pays for Everything) (1995), "Seven Servants" (1996), and Dieter Wedel's television miniseries "Der König von St. Pauli" (The King of St. Pauli) (1998).

Kirchberger also demonstrated her versatility on the stage and later took on roles in television series such as "Kommissarin Göllner" and "Blutige Anfänger" (Bloody Beginners). In 2016, she participated in the RTL dance show "Let's Dance," and in 2020, she appeared on the reality show "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!"

Sonja Kirchberger appeared in the German edition of Playboy three times—in 1988, 1995, and 2014.

August 1988 – her first appearance
At 23, she first graced the cover. Shortly before, she had become known for her leading role in the erotic drama "The Venus Trap."

November 1995 – her second appearance

April 2014 – her third shoot
At 49, she returned to the cover. The elaborately staged nude photo shoot took place in Namibia. In an interview, she said that she enjoys posing nude.

Particularly noteworthy: 26 years passed between the first and third shoots. Kirchberger thus presented herself as a nude model in three different phases of her life.
