Sofía Rivera Torres Martín del Campo (born September 18, 1992, in San Diego, California) is an American actress, television presenter, radio host and reality television personality. Despite being born in the United States, she identifies strongly with her Mexican heritage and has built her career primarily in Mexican media.
Rivera Torres began her career in 2014 as a host on E! Television's program 'EDM' and also appeared in 'The Release', produced by Vice Media. In 2016, she joined Imagen Televisión, where she became co-host of the late-night talk show '¡Qué Importa!' and starred in the series 'El Mundo Real: Ciudad de México' on Facebook Watch.
Her television work includes roles in telenovelas such as 'Si nos dejan' (2021), where she portrayed Mabel Rangel, 'Enemigo íntimo', 'Sin miedo a la verdad', 'Cuenta pendiente', 'Volver a caer' and 'Cabo', where she played Karen Escalante. In film, she appeared in 'Café con leche' (2020) and 'El vestido de la novia' (2022) on the streaming service ViX+.
In 2023, Rivera Torres gained additional recognition for her participation in 'La Casa de los Famosos México', where she became known for her direct and controversial personality. Following the reality show, she achieved her goal of playing a villain in a telenovela, announcing her role as Natalia in an upcoming project.
Rivera Torres has modeled for designers including Paulina López and Daniela Ferrari. She co-founded the chain Born to be Chingona. In her personal life, she married Mexican conductor Eduardo Videgaray in October 2020 in an intimate civil ceremony in Mexico City, followed by a church wedding three years later. She maintains an active social media presence with over 1 million followers on Instagram.
