About Simonetta Martone
She attended the Faculty of Oriental Languages at the University of Naples and graduated from the School for Interpreters in Florence. In 1984 she studied journalism at the Paul Valéry University in Montpellier. She later worked as a translator and interpreter for some publishing houses. Also in 1984 she began collaborating for Rai both as an author and as a presenter of some radio programs, including Bella Italia on Rai Radio 2.
