About Sharon Kane
Sharon Kane, born Sharon Louise Cain on February 24, 1956, in Ohio, grew up as a tomboy in a rural community with her mother and grandparents. She trained in classical violin for 15 years and worked briefly as a secretary for the Salvation Army before moving to San Francisco. There, she began exotic dancing at The Screening Room theater in the mid-1970s, which led to her entry into adult entertainment.
She debuted in the adult film industry in 1978 with Alex de Renzy’s Pretty Peaches, launching a career spanning over 1,000 productions across straight, gay, bondage, and transsexual genres, including 8mm loops and videos.
