Ah. Fresh field. OK, here goes with my own "bio-research," with some differences noted (to the profile above): She was born Shailene Diann Woodley, a putative female--and a Scorpio, with all that THAT implies!--just as given above. She's a U.S. actress who first came to the public's fickle and limited attention as Amy on ABC Family TV's THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER (2008-2013), just as though teenagers having "secret" lives was really a thing. (To quote Homer J. Simpson: "Hey, just because I don't CARE doesn't mean I don't UNDERSTAND!")

After that gig, she rose to stardom in a variety of roles, mostly film, that were both popular and critically-acclaimed (the little show-off!)--such as THE DESCENDANTS (2011), THE SPECTACULAR NOW (2013), THE FAULT IN OUR STARS (2014), The Divergent series (2014), and so forth. For all her hard work, she has garnered an entire trophy-case worth of awards, such as the Cannes Trohes Chepard (pretty sure they just made that up because they wanted to stick "Cannes" on an award somewhere!), the Sundance Film Festival Special Jury Prize for Dramatic Acting (which sounds a whole lot like a pink ribbon "for participating"), a Critic's Choice Award (which I'll admit is impressive!), a People's Choice Award, an Independent Spirit Award (for having "the perfect cheer"), and a nomination for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion picture.

As of April 2024, she has amassed 4.7 million followers on her Instagram platform.
