Notable for her modeling work for GQ Germany and Sports Illustrated,
she is most famous for her seven-year romantic relationship with German professional footballer and midfielder (Soccer player) Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern Munich, Manchester United).
Her relationship with Bastian Schweinsteiger began in 2007 and ended in 2014.
She briefly studied art history and sociology at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
Early in her modeling career, she participated in a series of advertisements for a German public services company called Stadtwerke Munchen.
She and English model Abbey Clancy were both photographed for a body paint feature in a 2010 edition of Sports Illustrated.
