Sahara Ray was an Australian model, fashion designer, and social media influencer. She was best known as the founder of the independent swimwear brand Sahara Ray Swim and for her high-profile public relationships within the entertainment industry.

Ray initially gained prominence as a commercial and swimsuit model, utilizing her growing platform on Instagram to build an international following that eventually surpassed over one million followers.

In 2014, she transitioned into business by launching her namesake label, Sahara Ray Swim. She served as the primary designer, creative director, and model for the independent bikini brand, which was characterized by its minimalist designs and vintage-inspired aesthetics.

In 2024, Ray was involved in a severe automobile accident after her vehicle was struck by a drunk driver. Following the incident, she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare autoimmune disorder. The condition left her partially paralyzed, requiring her to use a wheelchair. Ray died at a hospital October 18, 2026, at the age of 34.
