About Rossana Podesta
Born in Tripoli in 1934 with the name Carla Dora because her parents, natives of Portovenere, had gone to live there and her father was mayor of Tripoli. When she was just sixteen years old she was discovered by the director Léonide Moguy during the preparation of the cast for the film Tomorrow is another day (1951); This will be the beginning of a career during which he will shoot around sixty films, both in Italy and abroad. In Mexico, a few years later, she starred in the film La rete (1954) by Emilio Fernández, which also made her known in Latin America.
With a pin-up physique, she became a cover girl of the sixties.
