About Rebecca Corsi
Rebecca Corsi (born September 1988) is the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Empoli FC, one of Italy's most respected football clubs. Since joining the club in 2012, she has played a pivotal role in its strategic growth, innovation, and community engagement, becoming one of the leading female executives in Italian football.
After studying Fashion Design and Fashion Business at Polimoda in Florence, Rebecca began her professional career in her family's company, C.G. Studio, a fashion and leather goods business. However, her passion for football soon led her to Empoli FC, where she initially took charge of the club's Communications and Marketing department. In this role, she introduced several forward-thinking initiatives, including the creation of the club's first official city-centre store and the launch of Empoli for Charity Onlus, strengthening the club's social responsibility and connection with the local community.
Rebecca also served as President of Empoli Ladies, overseeing the club's women's football project before its sporting title was transferred to Parma. In 2018, she was appointed Vice President of Empoli FC, and in 2022 she assumed the additional role of Chief Executive Officer, continuing the club's long-standing tradition of stable and visionary leadership.
The same year, she was elected to the Board of Directors of Lega Serie A, becoming the first woman to hold the position since Rosella Sensi. Her appointment marked an important milestone for female leadership in Italian football and further established her reputation as one of the sport's most influential executives.
Although she played basketball during her youth, football has always been at the centre of Rebecca's life.
