About Rama Montakhabi

Rama Montakhabi is an Iranian American SAG AFTRA actress, who grew up in Northern Virginia after her family came to America as refugees only 2 months before her being born. Since the age of 4, she knew she wanted to be an actress and finally pursued it briefly in 2007 before moving to New York in 2009 where worked on a few TV series & independent films. In 2018, Rama settled in Los Angeles fully motivated to pursue her acting career after losing both of her parents to health issues in 2017 & 2018. In only 3 years, with no agent or management, she got herself booked on several independent films, feature films, TUBI, HBO, Showtime, MTV, VH1, Lifetime & is playing a recurring role as Peaches in BMF Season 2 & 3 on Starz network.

Rama is big on staying healthy, due to her mother passing from cancer & her father passing from a stroke. She takes herbs, vitamins & things like sea-moss to maintain her health as well as working out regularly.

She wants to be able to use her platform to help be a voice for all of the women in Iran during their time of crisis, as well as be a mentor for troubled teens here locally. She is also a talented artist with a collection of several paintings in her home gallery. Her hobbies include hiking, roller skating, yoga/fitness, reading, painting and is also a licensed Realtor in CA.

She is also a philanthropist (Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities) and also a celebrity golfer.
