One of her first roles was as an extra in the film "Il tempo delle mele 2." She became famous in Italy for her roles in numerous television dramas, the most notable of which was that of the courageous and incorruptible magistrate "Silvia Conti" in "La Piovra." She also starred in the drama "Il bello delle donne." In 1994, while at a nightclub in Trinità dei Monti, she was involved in a brawl with a gossip columnist. In 2000, she suffered a depressive episode and checked herself into the hospital, while in December 2004, she threatened suicide. She died on April 13, 2020, at the San Camillo Hospital in Rome, of a heart attack at the age of 63.
