About Olya Polyakova
Olya Polyakova, born Olha Yuriivna Polyakova in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, is a Ukrainian pop singer, actress, television host, blogger, and entertainer. Classically trained in music with a diploma as an opera singer, Polyakova began building her show-business career in the late 1990s before becoming widely known for her flamboyant pop persona, “Super Blonde,” which emerged around the release of her 2008 hit “Superblonde.” Her image — marked by bold costumes, theatrical performances, and a powerful vocal range — helped make her one of Ukraine’s most recognizable contemporary pop figures.
Beyond music, Polyakova has worked extensively in Ukrainian television as a host, judge, and performer, including appearances connected with shows such as X-Factor, The Mask, The Voice of the Country, and the YouTube project Doroslі Divchata / Adult Girls. She has also appeared in film projects including Me, You, Him, Her, Swingers, Swingers 2, Date in Vegas, and Stars by Exchange. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Polyakova has increasingly emphasized Ukrainian-language performance, charity concerts, volunteer work, and public support for Ukrainian culture and national identity.
