About Olga Mafud
Olga Mariana Mafud Toscano (born April 4, 1993, in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca, Mexico) is a Mexican television host, reporter and content creator. She is best known for her work as a co-host on Venga la Alegría, the morning show on TV Azteca.
Mafud is originally from Salina Cruz, Oaxaca. She studied Communication and later pursued acting studies at CEFAT (Centro de Formación en Actuación y Comunicación) at TV Azteca. She began her career as a reporter and collaborator on Venga la Alegría in 2014, initially conducting segments titled "Ruta B" and later "Reportaje con Olga Mariana."
Her fresh style, charisma and on-screen presence helped her rise within the network. By 2020, she became a regular co-host on the weekend edition of Venga la Alegría, sharing the screen with established hosts such as Sergio Sepúlveda, El Capi Pérez, Patricio Borghetti and Brandon Peniche. She also worked on La Voz México, presenting segments about contestants, and hosted the program No es normal on the 7.2 channel of a+ in 2021.
In March 2018, Mafud faced a life-threatening health crisis when she was diagnosed with a cerebral thrombosis. She was hospitalized and spent months recovering before returning to television. She has spoken openly about this experience, crediting it with teaching her to live with more gratitude, balance and appreciation for those around her.
Mafud maintains an active social media presence with nearly 300,000 followers on Instagram, where she shares content about travel, modeling, fitness and her daily life. She is a fan of fitness, photography and traveling, and continues to be one of the recognizable faces of TV Azteca's morning programming.
