In September 2022, Nidhi Chaudhary created a stir by posting a video on her social media account. The video related to Shani, the divine personification of the planet Saturn in Hinduism. In the video titled "One of the best remedies for Saturn/ Shani is to never exploit your helpers & help the underprivileged people,” she was seen wearing a blue saree without a blouse. The video didn't go well with many social media users and they slammed Nidhi for her outfit. One user even offered to send her money to buy a blouse as a way of mocking her choice of clothing. Reportedly, the social media users were unhappy to such an extent that the 'blouse' trended on Twitter for the absence of her blouse.
