About Nao Tomisato

Nao Tomisato (冨里奈央) is a Japanese idol and a member of the 5th Generation of Nogizaka46. Before joining the group, she was active as an idol under Ever Green Entertainment using the name Nana Aosaka (青坂奈々), and was also a member of the girl group Ichikawa Otomoe.

She enjoys watching animal videos and raising virtual pets in smartphone games. Her love of animals extends beyond her hobbies: her favorite animals are dogs and cats, and she has said that one of her future dreams is to become a regular cast member on the animal variety program Sakagami Animal Kingdom. She has also expressed an interest in running a cat café and trying danso (crossdressing cosplay).

Her favorite foods include cookies, cocoa, strawberries, sandwiches, and sweets, while her favorite colors are pink and white. Among Nogizaka46 songs, she particularly enjoys Girl's Rule, Kaerimichi wa Toomawari Shitaku Naru, and Sekkachi na Katatsumuri.

She describes one of her strengths as treating others the way she would like to be treated herself. At the same time, she admits that she has difficulty waking up in the morning and tends to do things at her own pace. If she had not pursued a career as an idol, she has said that she would have liked to become a kindergarten teacher.

She comes from a family that keeps unusual pets, including jellyfish and crayfish. In her introductory video, she appeared holding a transparent lily (Lilium maculatum). She has also shared a family story about seeing a zashiki-warashi, a childlike yokai in Japanese folklore that is traditionally associated with good fortune and household prosperity.

Within Nogizaka46, she is known to be particularly close to fellow member Saya Kanagawa of the group's 4th Generation.
