About Molly Line
Molly Line is a news correspondent for Fox News Channel, which she joined as a Boston-based correspondent in January 2006.
A 1995 graduate of Tucker County High School in West Virginia, Line attended Virginia Tech, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Political Science in 1999. During her college years and shortly after, she was a prominent figure in the Miss West Virginia Pageant system. She competed in 1997 as Miss Greater Bluefield Area and again in 2000, where she was named 3rd Runner-Up and won the Preliminary Talent Award.
Outside of her television career, Line is an accomplished outdoorswoman. During her time living in the mountains of West Virginia and New England, she worked as a professional ski instructor, a background she occasionally references during her news broadcasts.
According to her Facebook page, she became engaged on June 9, 2011, and was married on July 21, 2012, at Jackson Community Church in Jackson, New Hampshire.
Prior to joining FNC, she worked as an anchor/reporter for WFXT in Boston (2002–2005), covering the sentencing of "shoe bomber" Richard Reid and the Station nightclub fire. She also served as an anchor/reporter at WXXA in Albany, NY (2000–2002) and began her career as a photographer/reporter at WDTV in Bridgeport, WV (1999–2000).
Her notable field reporting includes live coverage of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the Boston Marathon bombing, and the extradition of Neil Entwistle.
