About Mifu Kawashima

Mifu Kawashima (川嶋美楓) is a Japanese pop singer under Hello! Project and a member of Juice=Juice. Before joining the group, she was a member of Hello Pro Kenshuusei.

Her special skill is dancing, particularly jazz and freestyle jazz. In her free time, she enjoys visiting shrines in Kyoto and spending time with her pet cat. She especially enjoys listening to Hello! Project music, while her favorite school subject is mathematics. Her favorite sports are dance and gymnastics.

Among her favorite foods are chocolate, Chinese cuisine, and takoyaki, while tangerines are her favorite fruit. Her favorite colors are light blue and blue. Her motto is “Kumo no ue wa itsumo hare” (雲の上はいつも晴れ; “It's always sunny above the clouds”).

She has said that she looks up to Reina Tanaka, Sayumi Michishige, Minami Nomura, and Risa Yamaki. Within Juice=Juice, she is especially close to Kisaki Ebata and Riai Matsunaga. She is also good friends with Hinoha Yoshida of Rosy Chronicle, having trained together as members of Hello Pro Kenshuusei.

She has an older brother, and her family owns a pet cat named Ah (アー), whom she affectionately calls Ah-kun (あーくん), Ah-chin (あーちん), or Ah-nyan (あーにゃん).
