About Michaela Thackwray

Michaela is a Brisbane, Qld-based registered nurse specializing in cosmetic nursing, she is also a competitive long-distance runner, and a model. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing (2015) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Cosmetic Nursing from the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science.
In 2015, she competed in the Gold Coast 50 Road Race (50km ultramarathon), finishing in 4:23:45 (2nd female). She was also the first woman across the finish line of the 2023 Brisbane Marathon (42.2KM) in the 30-34 age bracket category.
