Meggan Mallone is a retired American pornographic actress and former fashion model who became one of Vivid Entertainment's prominent new contract stars at the end of the 2000s. Born on December 30, 1986, in Houston, Texas, she is of Cherokee, Irish and German ancestry. Her mother is Cherokee from Oklahoma, while her father died when Mallone was 18. Growing up, she was a Girl Scout and regular churchgoer, and at Houston's Lamar High School she was a cheerleader, competed on the swim team, belonged to the French Club and worked as both a producer and on-air reporter for the school's television news program. Before entering adult entertainment, Mallone worked as a mainstream fashion model. Her transition began in 2007 after she was discovered online and began shooting adult-oriented modeling work. A test shoot helped lead to several magazine opportunities, and after only a small amount of adult work she was introduced to Vivid Entertainment. In January 2008, at just 21, she signed an exclusive contract with the company, quickly going from relative newcomer to one of its heavily promoted Vivid Girls.

Tall, athletic and naturally curvy, Mallone brought a polished fashion-model look to adult films. She described herself as bubbly, energetic and sports-obsessed, and said she hoped to challenge stereotypes about adult performers. Her first major Vivid projects included Strictly Conversation and 20 Questions, both directed by veteran filmmaker Paul Thomas. She soon appeared alongside other major Vivid performers, including Hanna Hilton, Briana Banks, Nikki Jayne and Savanna Samson.

Mallone's rise was unusually fast. She appeared on the cover of AVN Magazine in May 2008 and Hustler the following month, while additional pictorials appeared in magazines including Club, Club International, Genesis, Velvet and Cheri. In February 2009, Cheri selected her as its Tart of the Month, and WrestlingInc named her its Girl of the Month that same year. Her combination of brunette glamour, athleticism and playful camera presence made her particularly well suited to the Vivid Girl image of the period.

Her film career included titles such as Meggan and Hanna Love Manuel, Strip Tease, Sugar, Blame It on Savanna, Flashback, Hanna's House, Stroke It and Suck It. She worked with performers including Hanna Hilton and Manuel Ferrara and became known for an enthusiastic, playful screen presence rather than an especially extreme persona. Mallone also became a popular promotional representative for Vivid, making convention appearances, presenting industry awards and appearing in media outside traditional adult films.

Industry recognition followed quickly. Mallone was nominated for Best New Starlet at the 2009 AVN Awards, as well as New Starlet of the Year at the 2009 XBIZ Awards and Best American Starlet at the 2009 Hot d'Or Awards. The following year she received another AVN nomination, this time for Best Tease Performance for Strip Tease. Although she never won one of the industry's major awards, receiving several major newcomer nominations after barely a year in the business reflected how rapidly she had established herself.

Mallone's active career was relatively brief, with most of her original work filmed during 2008 and 2009, although previously filmed material continued to be released afterward. That short run, much like fellow Vivid Girl Hanna Hilton's, has become part of her appeal: she arrived with an established fashion-model look, was immediately given a major studio contract, became an award-nominated star and then largely disappeared from regular adult production before accumulating the enormous filmography typical of longer-running performers. Later releases and archive appearances have occasionally extended her credited filmography well beyond her actual period of regular performance.
