About Marta Gil
Marta Gil (born August 4, 1985) is a Portuguese actress, TV host and television presenter.
Marta Gil began her artistic journey at the age of 10, performing in the musical Jasmim ou o Sonho do Cinema at the Politeama theater in Lisbon
She pursued formal education alongside her artistic career, successfully completing a Law degree at Universidade Lusíada. Additionally, she attended professional acting courses in Portugal and abroad, including a summer intensive in English Communication Skills through Drama at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art .
She appeared in the film A Falha directed by João Mário Grilo.
She participated in the first series of Morangos com Açúcar, for the character "Flor" but it is with the protagonism in the series "O Diário de Sofia", where Marta played the main role, Sofia, that she gains greater visibility with the general public.
Her visibility increased with the younger audience from the moment she became a presenter on the Portugese TV series "Canal Panda". The actress played the role of presenter at the Panda Festival in Portugal and also in Angola.
In 2011, She was part of the cast of "A Complex Called Oedipus", a play aimed at young audiences that throughout 2011 toured several auditoriums.
Also a voice actress, Marta also voices animated films and videos.
