About Marine Delterme
Marine Delterme is a French actress and former model, who was born on March 18th, 1970.
Marine Delterme was born in the service apartment occupied by her parents at the LycĂ©e HonorĂ©-de-Balzac, where her mother was the caretaker. Her father, who trained as an engineer, specialized in painting restoration, which gave her a particular sensitivity to art from an early age. At 18, spotted in the street by a photographer, she began posing for the greatest fashion photographers, such as Peter Lindbergh, Paolo Roversi, Dominique Issermann, and Richard Avedon. Trying her luck in New York, she lived in an apartment with Carla Bruni, her best friend, before returning permanently to France to launch herself into the world of cinema, encouraged by Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, her film godmother. Jean-Luc Godard was the first director to cast her. But it was in 1992, in Les Nuits fauves, that she got noticed. Alongside cinema, she devoted herself to sculpture and presented several exhibitions in Paris and one in New York. In 2002, she landed the role of Alice Nevers, succeeding Florence Pernel in the series Le juge est une femme. The series was renamed Alice Nevers, le juge est une femme. Her son Gabriel, whose father is the Swiss actor Jean-Philippe Ăcoffey, was born in 1998. She married Florian Zeller on June 5, 2010; they have a son, Roman, born in December 2008.
