Mariazel (born in Barcelona, Spain) is a Mexican actress, television host, sports journalist and entrepreneur. She arrived in Mexico at age 5 and has built a multifaceted career spanning theater, television, sports broadcasting and business ventures.
She began her career in theater at age 7, participating in a production of Caperucita Roja alongside Manuel "El Loco" Valdés. Throughout her career, she has participated in more than 50 theatrical productions, including Los monólogos de la vagina, 222 and La obra que sale mal. She studied at Televisa's Centro de Educación Artística (CEA), TV Azteca's Centro de Formación Actoral (CEFAT), and later specialized in film interpretation in Barcelona.
Mariazel became widely known as a co-host on the comedy show Me Caigo de Risa, which she considers a turning point in her career. She has also hosted programs such as Más Deporte, Estadio Total, Cuéntamelo Ya, Hoy and Faisy Nights.
In sports journalism, she has collaborated with TUDN for over a decade, covering major international events including the Olympic Games and World Cups. She is recognized as one of the most beloved female voices in Mexican sports broadcasting.
As an entrepreneur, Mariazel has ventured into various businesses with her husband, actor Adrián Rubio, including a clothing brand with sports licenses, a motorcycle dealership and a production company. They are also developing a podcast together.
She maintains a strong social media presence with over 5 million followers on Instagram and 11.2 million on TikTok, where she shares comedy content, family moments and behind-the-scenes footage from her projects.
