Marianella Bargilli is an Italian stage actress and former television presenter, born in Cecina, Italy, on February 27, 1971. Best known for her extensive work in theatre, she has built a distinguished career performing leading roles in classical and contemporary productions.

After beginning her artistic training in physical theatre and street performance, she continued her studies at Teatro Blu in Rome, where she trained in the Stanislavski/Strasberg method under Beatrice Bracco. She further refined her craft through workshops with internationally acclaimed theatre professionals, including Michael Margotta, Marilyn Freed, Nikolaj Karpov, Steven Berkoff, and Augusto Omolù.

Marianella made her film debut in Ridley Scott's Hannibal (2001) before gaining wider public recognition through television. In 2004, her portrayal of Eliza Doolittle in George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion earned her a nomination for Best Emerging Actress at the ETI Olimpici del Teatro Awards, as well as the Chianciano Terme Award.

Throughout her career, she has performed in works by some of the world's greatest playwrights, including William Shakespeare, Luigi Pirandello, Eduardo De Filippo, Oscar Wilde, Carlo Goldoni, Honoré de Balzac, Jean Racine, T. S. Eliot, Vitaliano Brancati, and Alexandre Dumas fils. She has collaborated with renowned directors such as Geppy Gleijeses, Roberto Guicciardini, Luca De Fusco, Antonio Calenda, Guglielmo Ferro, Matteo Tarasco, and Patrick Rossi Gastaldi, appearing in major Italian theatres and prestigious classical theatre festivals.

Alongside her stage career, Marianella has worked in television as a presenter and actress, hosting cultural programs for Sky and appearing in Italian TV dramas. From 2009 to 2020, she was a partner of the historic Teatro Quirino–Vittorio Gassman in Rome.

In 2025, she founded ODV Pedale Rosso, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and combating gender-based violence.
